Individual therapy is an effective treatment for many types of mental, emotional and behavioral health issues. Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through individual therapy and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
While childhood should be a time of magic and wonder, it is sometimes difficult. Whether they have survived trauma, live with a mental health condition, or need help with a major life transition, children sometimes need therapy to maintain mental health. Through a relational approach we help children and adolescents make sense of and address some of the issues they face.
Treatment helps people disrupt addiction's powerful effects on the brain and behavior, and regain control of their lives. Those who come through our doors may be struggling with unresolved emotional trauma, drug or alcohol addiction, mental health conditions, or a dual diagnosis. We address co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders in children and adolescents as well as adults through outpatient treatment. We also provide substance use assessments.
Therapy can be beneficial to families who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Whether your family has recently experienced grief/loss, breakdown in communication, chronic illness or you all often have issues with discipline, conflict or anything else potentially affecting your family unit, family therapy may be right for you.
